• How do I read a map?! • Why do earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis happen? • Why is there such a fuss about the Rainforests? • Should we still have ski resorts in Scotland? At all times the department aims to develop the full potential of each and every pupil, ultimately producing high quality performances in external examinations. The world in which we live is likely to change more in the next 50 years than it has ever done before. Our role in that change is more important than ever. Geography explains the changes and helps to prepare people. It is a subject about now and the future.
