Well done to first year pupil Dylan Gough who proved he is no turkey when it comes to winning chess competitions.

Dylan scored a perfect  7 wins out of 7 in a very keenly fought competiton and was the lucky recipient of a Christmas turkey donated by W&J Sloan's of Dumbarton.

Many thanks to all contributors and those who assisted, to the Science department for the clocks and to Mr. Jim Binnie of Concord Chess Club, Dumbarton, for his assistance in the smooth running of the morning.
