Welcome to the Hermitage Academy Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

Dates for your Diary:

(All meetings currently postponed due to covid)

AGM (followed by our PTA meeting – Welcome to the new committee).

All parents welcome to attend to find out what we do and how all parents can be actively involved. We are keen to hear from you.

If this is your first introduction to the PTA please keep reading to find out what we do, who we are and how you can get involved!

The PTA is the fundraising arm of the school’s Parent Forum and provides financial support to the clubs and activities available to all Hermitage Academy pupils. It is a voluntary committee of S1 to S6 parents, supported by other parent helpers, the teachers who run the school clubs & local businesses with their donations.

Unfortunately, due to current Covid restrictions all clubs and activities are no longer running however we are keen to recommence our usual fundraising events when it is safe to do so, and the schools clubs and activities can start.

In the meantime, we are keen to have suggestions and ideas on how we can continue to support the school in a meaningful way and how to fundraise to support this. Our current committee is:

Chair Penny Crisp (S5)

Secretary Nanette Clark (S5)

Treasurer Jean Michaels (S4)

School Teacher Rep Emily Mbuyi
